God Is In Control
There are times in our lives when what takes place is beyond our control. We expect certain things to take place and when they don’t, we are disappointed, confused and not sure where God is at in the mix.
When I received the call from my doctor, with the diagnosis of breast cancer, believe me, it was not what I expected. It was not a part of my long-term plans, definitely far my vision of my projected future. It was a detour from the path, I had envisioned for my future. I was bewildered and perplexed. I questioned God.
Well, I come to share with you a good Word! In my quiet time with God today, a praise song with these words embraced me, “He still has the whole world in His Hands. He is still the Beginning and the End! He still guides the sparrow as it flies and you and I are still the apple of His Eye. We will believe the report of the Lord- No matter what the world says.”
That is it in a nutshell! God still has the whole world in His Hands. God is in control. He is Sovereign. The word sovereign means supreme, absolute, unlimited, boundless, infinite, ultimate, total, unconditional, full. One who exercises supreme authority.
God knows what is going to happen in our lives today and tomorrow. We are the apple of His Eye. He loves us even when we doubt His love, care and concern for us. He loves towards you is boundless! He loves you with an everlasting love! We are the apple of His Eye!
We shall believe the report of the Lord, no matter what the world says. The world says you are sick. God says you are healed. The world says you are poor, God says you are rich! We stand on His promises and on His Word!
Psalm 28:6-9. Blessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplications. The Lord is my Strength and my (impenetrable) Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him. The Lord is their (unyielding) Strength, and He is the Stronghold of salvation to (me) His anointed. Save Your people and bless Your heritage; nourish and shepherd them and carry them forever.
God is with you. He will never leave or forsake you. He is in control and His plans for you are always for your good and His Glory. Smile Mo Betta Girl and know God is in control!
