Finding Your Resting Place
As a breast cancer survivor, you may find yourself discomforted and disquieted about many things.
I just returned from my six- month follow-up. The poking and prodding, needle sticks, injections, awaiting the test results, wondering what the oncologist will say or not say. It can be downright painful.
Have you been experiencing the poking and prodding, the physical pain, emotional pain, a deep soul ache?
I worked so hard…fighting the side effects, only to get unexpected results. Sometimes good.. sometimes not so good.
At times, you can feel like you are on a medical roll-a- coaster. It can leave you feeling dizzy with unstable footing.
It’s time to find your resting place. A place of sweet peace and absolute comfort.
Take comfort today!
Psalm
23:1-3 says “The Lord is my Shepherd (to feed, guide, and shield me), I
shall not lack. He makes me to lie down in (fresh, tender) green
pastures: He leads me beside the still and restful waters. He refreshes
and stores my life.”
If you need comfort and rest, put your hand in the hand of Him who stills the waters and quiets life’s storms, Jesus Christ.
If you don’t know Jesus today, ask Him to come into your heart and be Lord of your life, just say, “Jesus, You came and died for my sins. Please forgive me of my sins and be Lord of my life. I accept you as my Savior and Lord. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life.”
Your life will never be the same! Jesus has come to comfort and restore you. He will never leave or forsake you. He will lead you beside still and restful waters. You will face life’s prodding from your resting place with Jesus by your side.
